ARTREACH AUCTION SUCCESS! Excited to announce that our Annual HALO Artreach Auction raised over $60,000 on May 3rd. Thank you to all the sponsors and volunteers who worked so hard on this event!
I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with an amazing group of people doing amazing things.... HALO Foundation is a non for profit raising funds, improving conditions, and implementing art therapy for orphanages the world over and in some cases even building entire orphanages from the ground up.
Before I I knew anything about HALO I met founder, Rebecca Neuenswander, at a fashion show I was modeling in for a close friend of hers (Who is badass too by the way Sunny Summers of Solo Jones).
Always having felt much empathy for the less fortunate and conditions where they have things much worse than we can probably imagine. I had no idea there was such a group of creative individuals pulling together their time and talents to make a real difference in these orphan's lives.
The theme of the party was here and there and it was so appropriate because really so little can go so far . I'm always impressed by what everyone, especially Rebecca of course, manages to continually do. I look forward to continuing to work with them and would highly reccomend anyone else interested in helping to learn a little more and contact the HALO offices to Sponsor, Donate or Join.
